Synopsis:

A clever and easily-understandable book written by an experienced author, this book is complemented by a range of online services designed to make a forex trader’s life easier. Although it may seem a little restricted for those who aren’t using MetaTrader 4, the resources Brown offers the reader once they’ve read the book more than make up for it.

Review:

This is a readable and well-explained book, and it’s one that will be of interest to both new and experienced investors thanks to its breadth of coverage. It’s worth noting that the emphasis on the more complex sides of forex trading, such as technical indicators, does mean that it’s sensible to have at least a basic understanding of the forex world before plunging into it.

The author has plenty of experience when it comes to foreign exchange. He works full time as a forex trader based in Vietnam and he is clearly used to working remotely. Brown has a strong understanding of the internet, and its potential for traders shines through extensively in the book.

But the main benefit of this book for traders is the extra resources the reader gains access to once it’s been purchased. For example, buyers will have use of a Facebook group for community discussion and the use of Brown’s own personal custom indicators.

Perhaps the one downside of this book is the fact that it’s very platform-specific. If you’re signed up with a broker that doesn’t use the MetaTrader 4 system which Brown regularly refers to, you may have to spend extra time converting the insights you receive into ones which are compatible with your system.
