Invest Diva’s Guide to Making Money in Forex: How to Profit in the World’s Largest Market

By Kiana Danial

Synopsis:

In this book, Kiana Danial aims to provide an introduction to forex trading, covering all the basics and then delving a little deeper to provide a more in-depth guide than many books for beginners. The book covers how currency markets work, why global events have such an impact on currency rates, and smart investment strategies for both the short term and the long term.

Review:

Kiana Danial is the founder and CEO of InvestDiva.com and ForexDiva.com. The book is aimed at women investors, and while there is no reason why men shouldn’t benefit from her advice, the tone is certainly aimed at the target market. Danial also addresses her own observations that women are often smart and calculating but also more risk-averse than the average male trader, and gives advice based on that. This means, of course, that more risk-averse male traders looking for smart but safe investment strategies would also benefit from this book.

This is an in-depth, deep-dive look at forex investing. Topics covered include technical analysis, fundamental analysis, sentimental analysis and capital analysis, as well as general short-term and long-term investment strategies. The author discusses currency pairs, risk management and best practices for navigating the economic calendar.

In this book, the author has taken a complex subject and made it much more accessible and easily digestible. While this is a book for beginners, it is much more than a standard “for dummies” overview. Those traders who are brand new to the concept of forex trading might need a more straightforward introduction to start with, but for those ready to dig in and learn about forex trading at a slightly higher level, this book is a good resource.
