Review:
This is a short, no-fluff book that sets up new traders to enter the forex markets. It presents an introduction to what forex is, and then covers all the basic topics that you would expect, such as technical and fundamental analysis techniques, suitable trading strategies for beginner forex traders, and the basics of money management.
While the book does explain how forex trading works, and presents strategies that can be used by new traders, it falls short on the promise in the title. It is not an easy target to go from zero to making $1,000 a day on the forex markets, and it is unlikely that a brand-new trader would achieve this with the fairly limited information in this book.
Another drawback of the book is the writing style. It seems that the author is not writing in his first language, and while perfect writing is not necessary to benefit from a non-fiction book, many English speakers will find the grammar and sentence structure awkward and jarring in places.
The author does give a useful overview of the forex markets and how to start making money through forex trading, but there is little in the way of in-depth information, detailed examples or real insight in this book. Adequate as a basic introduction for beginners but certainly not a comprehensive resource.
